That's how it makes me feel... unappreciated. I don't mean in the "emotional" sense. More in a literal way. Yet the "literal" lack of appreciation does hit me personally. I and my team spent a good number of hours putting together a web presence to assist a local charitable organization. In the end, it's just too much for them. They are simply unable to dedicate qualified resources to it. And it just burns knowing I should have seen that in the beginning. Maybe I would have seen it if I hadn't been so caught up in my chivalry. Meanwhile, all of our labor goes wasted, and I grow in cynicism. Yikes!
