It's embarrassing that I've been so absent from my writing. It's Ian's fault. Being a dad is time-consuming. But I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing. I love that boy.

Thanks to my good friend Bill Salter for a beautiful morning out on the duck lease along the Bear River.  The tree in this picture had a beautiful bald eagle sitting in it until just before I clicked the shutter.  Oh well, the scene is still a nice one.
